Paulo Kobylka has a background in architecture and urbanism.

Graduated at Londrina State University in 2006, Paulo had his graduation work selected for the Opera Prima award. 

From 2007 to 2011, he worked at Londrina State University 's Planning Department in the development of institutional architectural projects.

In 2010 he founded Studio Paulo Kobylka, focusing on residential architecture.

Paulo won a Deca Award – Residential category, in 2012, for a tinny toilet project.

In 2014, he began a new phase focusing on retail architecture and started designing L’Occitane En Provence stores throughout Brazil. There were more than thirty stores with executive projects signed by the architect.

Paulo received from the German Design Council a nomination to compete for the German Design Award 2015, in which he received an honorable mention for the PK1 and PK2 sofas.

In 2015, he began to work focusing on furniture and product design.

In 2016, he received a special mention for the European Product Design Award and was a finalist in Casa Vogue Design award, both with the PK6 armchair design.

Today, Studio Paulo Kobylka has a portfolio of 70 products with the brand's exclusive design. There are sofas, armchairs, chairs, shelves and rugs sold to the national and international market.
